About Me

Welcome! I am Anne, a mom of 3 and wife of 1 from Green Bay WI.  My little blessings are Zack age 10, Libby age 9 and Xander age 1.5 and then there is my wonderful husband Alex.  I am both a SAHM & WAHM and am enjoying every bit of it!  I’ve recently started blogging…..yes….I am a “mommy blogger”! My “mommy blog” is The Megalomaniac Mommy and I also have a review blog called My Mommy Reviews.

I’m kinda new to this whole cooking thing.  Before I got married cooking was ordering dinner and having it delivered to our house or it came out of a box, can or was frozen.  Since I met the Hardworking Hubby and we started living together, I’ve tried to become a little more ‘functional‘ in the kitchen.  I will admit, I still let him cook more than I do, but the way I see it, I’m the baker in the family.  I. LOVE. TO. BAKE.  He is the grill master and chef and makes 97.98% of our meals (and makes one helluva mess while doing so).

We are always up for trying new things.  Thanks to Alex, I now enjoy eating steak–something I disliked until he made it for me.  As for Alex, he’ll eat anything (excepts beans–unless they are refried).  He’s a human garbage disposal and honestly, just likes food!  As for me, I’m kinda picky but have learned to broaden my horizons in recent years.  The kids—well, I have one who loves vegetables and fish and is my ‘healthy’ eater, then my oldest son who has an endless pit for a stomach but avoids anything that comes from the water & quite a few veggies and a toddler who will eat anything you give him including raw onions, pickles—you name it, he just likes food..nom nom!
